Hi. I have intuity audix and I used Auto attendant. It rings once then picks up. I want the phones to ring 2-3 times before Audix picks up so caller ID can register. Can anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks Jake
what i dont under stand it "Ok, dont' use those routing in the audix" If i dont use them if u press 1 -- It wont be programed to dial anything..... "Set the operator ext. to 130" I dont know how to do that--- but if i do what about the night Auto attendnt..
I need a step by step procces. I cant understatnd abreviated instuctions.
I will just say this agian
Here is how system is set up now. Trunk 801 has automated attendant. Trunk 802 has no voice mail or auto attendant. trunk 804 has one general mailbox. When you dial the number for trunk 801 it rings once then goes to automated attendant. There are options for three different extensions which have differnet covering extensions. If there is no awnser at Ext 104,103 or 111 each has its own voice mail box. I am using key mode and the automatated attendats are 130 for the day and 132 for after hours. Note that there are no operator phones nor is there phones for 130 or 132 they are dummy extensions for Auto attendant.
I want that to work the same way. I just want it to ring 3 times on the callers end before auto attendant picks up. I dont want anything here to ring unless you select an extension from the auto attendant. I belive that i am using group 770 and 30. with 104,103, and 111 as senders. Its an itergrated VM.
I do not know how to change opperator settings. I am in key mode.
PLEASE im sorry to keep comming back--- but im slow with learning this new stuff... THANKS FOR THE HELP
thanks for all the help and putting up with my ignorance. I got tired of changing setings and scewing up the system and restoring SO i tried a few things. I recaled we had ring-mate a few years ago and there was always a dellay between the call and a ring to that phone -- it takes 2 rings to determine what type of ring is comming in. So i plug the caller id into the main phone line and the ring mate device after the CID. So there is the two- ring dellay enought for CID to register..
