I know there is the chance to make a DS automatically answers over a call, but I absolutely forgot how to do that, no way to find it by browsing the 5410 menus or system shorts, is there anybody could do that ?

thank you

Internal calls = set an auto answer internal button.

If you want it to answer external calls do the following

Enable auto answer button and create the following shortcode under each user.

Code: *DCP

Telephone Number: 0,0,2,2

Feature: CW

In 4.1 set the action data of the auto answer button to FF

Wow Pure, thank you...

..but I am missing the meaning of *DCP etc, is it a special feat or a trick?

What's the meaning of 0,0,2,2 ?

So...

*DCP/Dial/0,0,2,1,0 is the standard Internal Auto Answer

After I did a few tests I understood that:

The 3rd digit is 1 for INTERNAL OFF and 2 for INTERNAL ON
The 4th digit is 2 for EXTERNAL OFF and 2 for EXTERNAL ON

The question is: what about other digits ?

and *DCP/dial/0,0,2,2,0 is auto answer on headset & speakerphone, don't even need a key on the phone.

And if you want the phone to ring once program the code under User Short Codes

But if you want it to auto answer immediately or beep once in the ear, put it in User Profiles Short Codes

How does one instruct a remote user to take this off of their phone? I am not familiar with this feature but have been tasked with walking a new receptionist through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
