Hi,

Our system is HiPath 4000 V7.

Can you help me how to configure autoanswer on analog number or other ideas (intercom) ? I will call to phone number and someone can hear me without lifting the handset

Edit:

I have to set up connection with phone number (analog or digital) which will set up without lifting the handset.

Can I use COMGR - Communication Group Calling ?

Best Regards,
Michal

You can use 'voice calling'
The code on a 3000 system is *80 by default.

You can set VCR in ACTDA for Voice call reject if required or at the phone.
Add a code in WABE in the 4000 for VOICECAL and try it out to a phone that has VCR turned off.

It only works on digital phones.

Thanks for help,

I found a code for VOICECAL its **1, but I got dispaly message - NO PERMISION.

Should I add something (what?) to COS1 ?

Hi,
If you have VCKY added in WABE you can add a key for voice calling
VCRKY would be added to give someone a voice call reject key

To allow Voice Calling from a phone you need to change the SDAT
Example:

CHANGE-SDAT:1234,ATTRIBUT,VC;

Hi,

REG-ACTDA for the telephone that is being called.
And remove the Voice call reject line

Or just go to the telephone that is being called and change the voice call reject (default) to allow via the menu.

He is trying to do this on an Analog phone.

How are you going to get an Analog phone to auto-answer??

I'm just curious, because regardless of programming I can't visualize any logic in the phone that would make it answer itself.

That or I'm just too old :p

I know you should be able to get the system phones to do it.

As stated above
It only works on digital phones.

You can make voice calls from an analog but you need a digital to answer

Sorry - missed that. I see it now though )
