Auto Answer on intercom call.

Does any one know how to set up auto answer for intercom calls on PTs with a KX-TA1232 I have gone through station programming guides and followed the procedure, but it just doesnt work. Any help would be great.

you should be able to just press the Auto ans key on the Handsets

Tried that and no go. I was reading something about disabling the ring anouncment, but the manuals are a little unclear.

Ok. I got it figured out. The called extension needs to be placed in voice anouncment mode by dialing the * key once you have intercommed the ext. As long as the Auto answer button is on then it works very well.
