I have a customer that has an Auth Code associated with an FCR tree. If someone dials 9 + any number on that tree the system will not prompt them for the Auth Code. Any idea how this is done?

if it is not prompting for an authcode, then the RLI it is referencing does not have the MFRL set higher than the FRL

i 9 ac1 or a acod.. if it's ac1 look at the mfrl on the rlb. as bigindian posted.. if i want ncos 4 and below to hear auth tone, my mfrl would be 5.. be sure to check ld 88, not all auth codes are internal

Same phone will prompt for Auth Code for numbers that are not in the FCR tree but are numbers that use the same RLI. If you dial a number that is in the FCR you don't get prompt for the Auth Code. 9 is the AC1.

NPA 1941, BARS points it to RLI 3 but is not in FCR 3, you will get prompt for the Auth Code.

NPA 1703, BARS points it to RLI 3 but is in FCR 3, you will not get prompt for the Auth Code.

The are no pre translation, no speed dials, no free area call screening.

How is this possible? In the book, LD 49 there is a AUTH prompt but I can not get it to show up when I'm programming.

post your fcr_data. from 15 and fcr from 49.. you can use 49 for that but it's a very strange setup.. either alow or deny should be the gate opener for auth,, ie deny 554 return you should get prompted for auth
