I have recently been having problem with this message appearing, frequently. It reads

" authorised by NT authority/system, a remote procedure call "

Once this this message has appeared the computer restarts. Can anyone help :)

heya,

can't really help. but me & my pal are getting the same messages, i did hear on the news today that there's a new virus wandering about the internet [is this relevant?]...but we ran norton [quick scan], spybot & ad-aware & nothing popped up.

what i did find was that there was a service "RPC Locator" that was stopped but was set to run with the NT Autority/System Account...

can anyone shed some light on this situation?

thanks
luni
