Hi guys,

I'm setting up a web site for our company, the site has to authenticate users against a local account on a Windows 2000 machine.

I made all the configuration but what happens is :

When i enter a URL on the web browser the web site prompts for an username and password, but, no matter what user or password I input, it just keeps saying unknown username or bad password. Even if i try to login with the administrator account.

I'm using Integrated Windows Authentication.

It only accepts my password when i add the users to local admins group on the Win2k IIS server, but i can't afford to do that.

Any ideas?

Thanks but the IIS machine is not on a domain, it's in a workgroup.
