Can WebAccess authenticate user using eDirectory? I've installed GroupWise 65 on NW65. The password never works when using WebAccess unless I explicitly set a GroupWise password on ConsoleOne...

Hi,

If you don't set a GroupWise password Webaccess won't let you in. It would be poor security if they allowed it.

I've changed the security setting of GroupWise. Now LDAP authentication is allowed... everything works now!

What security settings did you change? Does GW web prompt you twice to enter credentials?

What glio changed (I beleive to be true) was the secutity setting of his PO(s) from low to high. Setting a PO to high opens up the fields on the same screen for setting up LDAP authentication. The Web client (using LDAP) will not change from it's normal prompting of login ID and password entries, or I should say it should not.
