I recently installed a SBS2003 server to replace SBS2000 at a client and their small satellite office is now having tremendous difficulties with log on's, connections and access to exchange. Prior to the change over it was working OK altho quite slow and i thought that the upgrade to SBS2003 with cached exchange etc would improve the performance.

The sites are connected using VPN over 2Mb ADSL lines the only server is the SBS2003. DNS on each computer is set to point to the SBS and so is WINS.

The problem particulary affects Exchange/Outlook and SQL

Thanks for any suggestions

i take it that you've made the remote server a member of the new domain etc etc and not just called the new one the same name / IP ??!!??

The sbs2003 server is a new name/ip address. There is only 1 server in the whole configuration. The satellite office has only 6PC's combination of XP pro and 2000 Pro
