I have a customer who is using AUTH CODES for LD. A couple of the exec's was there own personal SCL which has LD numbers on it. When I try using the SCL it dials out but does not recognize the AUTH CODES. Can you use a SCL and input AUTH CODES?

If the auth codes are on the PBX change the SCL NCOS level to a level that does not require the auth codes.

If they are carrier based it should simply be a matter of putting in the correct pause length and the authcode.

Please confirm where the auth codes are.

thanks

Thanks. It's on the PBX but it's a consulting firm and they use the codes for billing purposes. I am not allowed to change or remove the AUTH CODES. I don't believe that you can add a pause or anything to the SCL. I think the AUTH CODE is out of band and is not recognized. Any suggestions?

We use pauses to allow access to paging services etc. It uses * for 1.5 second pause. The users get a tone back where they should enter their auth code so you might go with 9*1-xxx-xxx-xxxx**authcode.

If that doesn't work I'm out of ideas.

I'll give that a try next time I'm onsite.
Thanks for all your help.
