audix voice mail

I have an audix vm where there is one station that the light will not light. I have made sure the phone is set to led on the phone and in the pbx. I have changed ports in the pbx (G3v6), I have rebooted the vm, I have rebooted the pbx. All setting are the same as other stations that are not having issues. The vm does show in the vm but when stating station no audix as message waiting. I have also traded ports with another room that had a vm and the light lit up, so I know the phone and light are good. What could this be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

on page 2 of the station form make sure LWC Reception is set to "AUDIX" press F5 for options on this field. You might have a different node-name but F5 gives the options.

Also on page 2 set the field called "AUDIX Name:" to Intuity or whatever you have called the voicemail system, again F5 on this field will tell you.

Once you've done this refresh the terminal parameters on this phone or busy and release it.

Any new voicemails will now show up. Existing voicemails will not but new ones will.

I meant to ask is that a standalone staion or are you logging into or is a login id being used. The agent login id also needs the audix name added, let me know how you get on.

Ok, yeah the second page on all the phones are set to audix. This is a hotel, now today I had an issue where all the message lights were on in the hotel.

You can use the "clear AMW all" command to turn those off.

Yeah I have got them all removed but this seems to keep happening.

when you setup the account in audix, did you run the audits from within vm

If not run the audit command and basically run an audit for every option you see.

TYou only need to run audit swit-names and switch translations, but if you've never run the audits, run them all and it clears a lot of crap that's built up.

I dont think I can run an audit command, where is that done from? This is an older Intuity/audix box.

Is it embedded audix, i.e. on a card within the switch chassis. if it is then you can log into audix where you do the admin and type audit then press the options button

This is a standalone inuity/audix seperate from the definity, with a pi link.
