I am trying to reset the password on several stations. I login to the switch, but dont see the option to login to the audix. Can someone guide me in the right direction to be able to login to the audix system? Thanks

How are you loggin in to the switch?

If you are dialing into a tracker then the PBX is normally on SP1 and audix on SP2. You will need to know the login and password.

I login at the switch.

Login:user
Password:XXXXX

terminal 513

Command:_______________________________

If you are logging into the Audix > you should do a cha sub XXXX at the command prompt. Please ensure you are logging into the Audix and not the PBX.

Thanks,

I am fairly sure that i am logging into the pbx. Is there a toggle or something i am missing to get to the audix login?

It should be on a totally diffrent monitor ,unless you have an AB box so that you can use the one monitor.

There is only one monitor, on the back of the monitor there is 2 cables. Side by side, one is aux. But no other monitors connected to the system. No a/b switch either. The last IT guy said that he would login with username cust for audix. i just cant figure out how to get to that login for the audix.

if you are on a tracker with a 615 terminal, at the login prompt try typing ;ESC

then ;SP2 enter
then ;ME

if you can get to a login prompt from here try your cust login

Try hitting CTR+Enter to toggle between com ports. I beleieve thats the key combo. It's been a while for me, I usually dial into the equipment. check your function keys for any pre programmed buttons you may have. If someone recalls the key combo oin the 715 terminal please chime in. if your not sure if it's a 715 terminal or not cycle the power on the moniotr only and note the numbers that come up when it starts.

using keyboard, press ctrl-chg host key(far right on the keyboard) at the same time. This will enable you to see the Audix login.

Thanks a Billion, i am gonna be onsite tomorrow and see if i can get this problem resolved. Tek-Tips and Friends are the best. I will update after tomorrow.

Thanks.

According to the manuel's, f2 is the key to switch between ports. But for some reason if i hit F3 to enable window split screen, F2 was not a option. So under setup i would have to switch between switch and audix. port 1 and 2. I never could find the combo key to make the screen switch, but atleast i was able to get to the audix screen and make the needed changes. Thanks all for the help.
