Audix TN568

I have a new hard drive but its not from avaya.. once i have build it i get the following



system name: audix

login: craft
Password:
Waiting for system to initialize...
Transferring to Firmware

then it reboots ???

Was the drive new or used? If used, was a surface scan and low level format run on it prior to loading. If not, then you need to do so, and start over. This is UNIX you are dealing with and it will not mesh with DOS or Windows formats.

Its a new Scsi Drive. I am using the generic disk to build the audix back up is that correct?

i Cannot find any detailled documentation to guide me through it!

tried 3 new scsi hard drives... pullng my hair out !!!!!

Is there an error code displayed when the Audix transfers to firmware control?

You need the craft login to add the disk. Good luck on getting that.

transfers firmware ok theres no errors

I believe that the hard drive used in voicemails have areas burnt out of them to stop people using off the shelf hard drives. You will have to source a drive that was previusly in a voicemail.
