On my Definity system we have an Audix Card (TN568). It takes up 2 slots in the system. There is a card inserted in it. There are 3 LEDs.

The Top is flashing RED
The Middle is off
The bottem is yellow/amber solid

What does this mean ???

Thank you
Andre

I displayed alarms in Audix and this is what I got:

ALARM REPORT

Resource Location Alm Fault Ack? Date/Time Date/Time Resolve
Type Lvl Code Alarmed Resolved Reason
SOFTWARE 01B1000 MIN 5002 n 12/23/06 04:42
MO_DISK 01B1002 WRN 2 n 12/24/06 01:07

Do you see any connection with lights and these alarms???

Andre

Try the status MO command first and then post result

The above link is the original Tier 1 maintenance manuel for that system. An oldie but a goodie. (If you still need it that is) [wink]
Hope this helps.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

Yes, typically a optical disk is bad or not "added" or, the optical disp drive itself may be bad. Most likely the disk though.

Thanks everyone for your input.

I did a status MO and heres what I got:

MO Drive Location: 01B1002
Status: Out-of-Service--D

DRIVE:
Equipped? y
Vendor: FUJITSU
Model: MCE3130SS
Revision: 0070

CARTRIDGE:
Equipped? y Self-Diagnostics: pass
Administered? n Write Test: pass
Write Enabled? y Read Test: pass
Capacity(Mbytes): 640MB Verify Test: pass

What do you think?

heres what i got:

Filesystem corruption on mo-disk, to reuse disk, try 'add mo-disk initialize'

so i did a an ADD MO INIT

then did a status MO = in service idle

So i should be able to do a backup on the card now right?

Andre

Thank you! So I did a "save nightly" this morning, and this is what I got:

SAVE NIGHTLY

Status of most recent "save nightly" backup: completed

Does that mean that it saved everything last night successfully? Is this the way you verify that backups are succeeding?

Is it just backing up subscriber profiles or is it also backing up messages...what exactly is it backing up?

Cheers!
Andre

you should do a 'save nightly', 'save weekly', then a 'save voice'.
