Hi all,

I have a Definity Multivantage running on an Si server with a Definity AUDIX 4X10 voicemail. The voicemail number on the PBX for the AUDIX is a hunt group number that contains all the separate AUDIX extensions.

The problem now is that once in a while callers to the hunt group number get a busy tone even when all the voice ports on the AUDIX are all ISI. What I normally do is to reset the AUDIX but this is not a permanent solution as it occurs again. It's getting frequent and I would like to get a permanent solution to this.

Please help me. Thanks.

What kind of integration are u using on the Definity Audix?

Da-vi'do

P.S. A message to all,if you want to get the best response to a question, please read FAQ222-2244 first. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx system & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Be aware that if u don't answer a question, I usually will not continue to help u.

Check that adjunct supervision is set to y on page 2 of the extensions in the hunt group.

Hi Da-vi'do,

I have checked the system and found out that the AUDIX card as a TN568 and the stations are configured as ADX16D. What integration mode is this? Native or digital emulation?

Now that we know the integration mode, what do you think that the problem is?

Please note that the AUDIX is a R4.0

when your system version is below R7.0 you cannot set phone type to adx16d , The detail information you can goto avaya web site follow the document. And then even you have 4 port on audix , but I suggest that you should follow the eight port config guide .
