I'm trying to figure this report out. The documentation I have is useless.
What's the differance bewteen
Call Answer Prime and Non-Prime
Voice Mail Prime and Non-Prime

Richard

[green]Call Answer[/green] = Number of times callers were directed to voice mail when dialing this subscriber's extension.

[blue]Voice Mail[/blue] = Number of times this subscriber logged into voice mail.

[purple]Prime v.s Non-Prime[/purple] = Set on page 2 of the "system-parameters features" form.

dialtone,
thanks
I suppose the Call Answer would count how many times a caller hit a subscriber that is an auto attendant as well?

I have all our inbound calls hitting 1 of 16 differant auto attendants, depending on which number they call in on. One for day, one for night, for each number. Trying to account for all these calls.

I always understood the report to be as follows:

Call Answer - the number of calls received via a cover path from the switch.

Voicemail - the number of messages sent directly to the mailbox. (Not received by dialing the user's extension.)

For example: If I forward a message to someone's mailbox, it would be considered a voicemail message in their mailbox instead of a "call answer" message.

Also, if I logged into my voicemail and selected option 1 from the main menu (Create messages) and sent a message to someone that way, it would be considered a voicemail as well. Basically because it originated in the voicemail system and not in the switch (as a call.)
