Hi All,

We have a Definity 9.5 and an Intuity Audix in the Audix we have a covering extension setup on a group of our extensions so when you zero out of the mailbox it rings to that covering extension. This works fine unless the covering extension is call forwarded to another extension. When the extension is forwarded audix gives a line busy message.

I tried this on a different system setup we have and it worke fine. This setup is also a Definity 9.5 and Intuity Audix. I have not seen any config differences that should prevent this. Any ideas?

Thanks

I tried making the covering extension in Audix a pbx vdn and putting the extension I need to be the covering extension in the vector as a route to step. But when I forward the extension that is in the vector the call does not follow the forward it just disconnects.

the vdn should be a dummy number, the vector should just route to where you want the call to go to.

If the extension in the vector is forwarded the call will not follow the forward. The problem is sometimes through out the day they want to be able to forward these calls from the person handling the responsibility normally. We are trying to avoid them calling up and having us make changes in the system. I am able to get it to work on a different Audix and Definity combo without even using a vector but dropping in the extension, works with the vdn and vector as well. Just can't figure out why it will not work with this other Audix and Definity setup.

No, the cos is not preventing trxfer.
