My password for my VM login has expired. Fortunately, I have a login that allows me system access, so I can still get in. My problem is this: When I go to the change password screen within System Management and follow the prompts, when I answer 'Yes' to changing the password, the system kicks me back and says something like, Warning: Password not changed, press F1 to acknowledge. So far, I've found nothing in the manual about dealing with expired passwords and the engineer who installed the system is stuck, too. Any suggestions?

From SA or Craft logins from the main screen under
customer/services>>system mgt>>Password admin
you should be able to change the passwords

assign/change>>enter login >f3> yes and you should be able to change it. Unless it was blocked via TSC login, which would be unusual. In that case only root or TSC can change it.

Craft can change craft, sa, and vm
sa can change sa and vm only

Which version R-4.x or R-5.x do you have?

Once the password has expired, U need to call Avaya and have them reset it.
