I just created a GPO that audits success/failure of login on member servers. I then tried to test it by mistyping my password, but I cannot locate any failure audits????

What am I doing wrong?

Which group policy did you configure for this , "Audit account logon events" or "Audit logon events"? Also, where are you checking for the audit?

I applied both. I then checked eventviewer on the server where I mistyped my logon information.

I did, but only see success audits.

what about applying a policy on the DC? you say you've done it on member servers...
