Looking for the best way to obtain report level information that shows users Login and Logout time in the below environment:

RSA server 5.1

Web Interface 2.0

Citrix Metaframe XP FR3 SP3

Citrix Secure Gateway Version 2.0

Windows 2000 server SP4

all suggestions welcome.

nels,
Most of those questions will need to come from the domain side of things (A/D, Novell, NT 4.0 domain). When you log into Web Interface and Citrix MPS servers they are authenticating the users to the domain (of course). So most of that information will need to be gathered on the domain level.

You might want to look into some kind of reporting tool for your domain controllers.
Hope that helps.

One tip is to use auditing locally on your application servers. This will log all "log-ons" in Event Viewer - Security.

On w2k3 this is enabled by default but on w2k this has to be manually turned on.

Use gpedit.msc,
Computer configuration - Windows settings - Security Settings - Local Policies - Audit Policy.

Choose to audit success and failure for "Audit account logon events" and "Audit logon events"

On what level you choose to apply the GPO is up to your infrastructure.
