Hi

Has anyone had any experience with using AudioCodes MP-1XX series ATA's with MCD 7.0 for T.38 Faxing.
I have tried without luck to get this up. I have some docs from MOL but this too is missing some importatnt elements I believe.

Nothing fancy - ATA connecting via SIP to MCD.
My SIP channels are up, just not receiving any packet either way.

Basically, I should be able to plug an analog phone on the ATA FX port and another on the MCD Analogue port and should be able to dial successfully from one to the other,

If anyone has a "how to" guide on this, I would very much appreciate if you can share.

Thanks

I am now getting one way calling from the MCD to ATA.
ATA to MCD still unsuccessful.

Where is the ATA located compared to the MCD ( it will work better if its in the voice vlan)

what codecs are being used - for voice calls from ata - analog you will need compression licenses if ata is trying to use g729

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

and due to an endless stream of MiCollab , MiCC issues
Life would be simpler If only they tested products properly before releasing them .....

Hi Billz66

I have DSP II, T.38 and analog licenses in my MCD.

Thanks

They are both in the default vlan.

Finally got it to work [afro2]

The guide that's in MOL gives you specific steps in programming this, however it's missing one crucial step.[thumbsdown]

You will need to create Generic SIP phones with numbers to match the numbers you have programmed up on your FXS or FXO analogue endpoints. Use the SIP authentication password and username (SIP ext number) in the Authentication of your analogue endpoints. (I actually have to combined a few documents to get to this step).[afro]

If anyone needs the AtA guide, let me know and I will attach it here.[peace]

Thanks.

I am trying to connect an Audiocodes MP-202 to a Mitel 3300. It is working somewhat. I have one way audio. The ATA guide you mention might be helpful.

Hi linuele

Please find document in the link - note that this is my version of the setup and may defer with yours in many ways, but hopefully it will sort out the issue you are experiencing.
