Yes i have checked the boards for volume , mute etc., all properly set, no audio
Anyhelp appreciated.

p.s. download is on qsonet.com

...so is this transmiting program like a service.
...(are you transmiting audo to certain devices statically or are clients requesting it)
..is it only transmiting locally or across internet..

...what devices are you using in your network..

yes it is transmitted to the internet to a server, its a program you download , like communicating to another station that shows up, like cb radio talking to another person.

ill see what they say is running the program thru the communication ill be back

it says something about the following

QsoNet uses only GSM 6.10

**brainstorming here..
..could it possible that the server on the other end just needs the proper codec?

..where are you seeing the GSM 6.0 codec error ..on your machine ..or the distant end?

..if turns out not a codec problem..i would check the below..

is there is anyway you can test this application within your LAN you can find out if it is the program or connection problems across internet..

..is there any way you can determine that this program is xmiting the audio at all. maybe with in the application itself...for example on msn messenger you can see the video that is being transmitted to host..

the gsm 6.10 doesnt show an error it shows its working.

Now to the question on ports...Where do I find the ports to see if it is open????

revpo

..what devices are you using as a firewall? Pix, cisco router, etc;

..is there any documentation about this application that tells you what ports are necesary for this service to work?
...could be on the applications website...could be under help/info on the application itself...
