Got a little issue here. I have several IP2004 phones in remote locations all connecting to my BCM50 through VPNs, but in one location, a VPN is not possible so I actually entered my public IP at the main office into the IP2004 and forwarded port 7000 to the BCM. The phone (in another state) finds the server instantly, connects and all of the buttons become active. However, I have no audio from the main office. I can press the intercom button (which lights up) but I cant hear anything. I can dial a DN at the home office directly, but neither party can talk. It appears that all the connectivity is there, just cant pass any voice. Any ideas?

You will need to forward more than port 7000. I can't remember all the ports, but look in other posts here and they will tell you.

You'll need the following ports open:
7000
28000-28511
51000-51063
and you may need 5989

Ok... great. So I just need to forward all those ports to the BCM?

Great. I'll start there and let you know. Thanks for the help.

Ok. I forwarded all the ports you mentioned to the BCM. I still have the same problem. The phone finds the BCM, pulls back the date and time, Internal Autodial buttons configure properly... but I cant grab a dial tone or hear it ringing when I press an Ad.

Any other ideas?

Just as an added bit of information, when an internal autodial is pressed, it rings at the main office and shows an incoming call from this IP extension. Neither party can hear..

Thanks
