Has anyone tried to connect an Audiocodes MP10X directly to a Cisco 800 series router.

Whith a switch in between it works fine but the router doesn't seem to see the MP10X at all when we leave the switch out.

Sure your cabling is ok?

No idea what a Audiocodes MP10X is but, judging by the fact it works when connecting to a switch and not to a layer 3 device, that would be my guess.

Cabling is fine. The port goes to active but the device doesn't show in the mac table.

I'm now looking at the default setting in the thing.

10MB half or whatever. it must be like that.

HI,

Use Cross cable between Cisco Router & Audio codes, it should help.

You TP10x is a SIP host card right?
I'm pretty sure you have 2 eth ports on that correct? (I use the Mediant2000 and it has 2 ETH ports as Active/standby).
Make sure your connected to the active port.
