We have an older IP Office and VM pro 2.1 system. I'm not trained in IP Office or VM Pro or phone systems in general.
What I know is through noodling around the settings.
We had the attendent setup to answer incoming calls via an attendent. The custom recorded message lists choices: 1 for accounting, 2 for accounts payable, etc. When 7 is hit for "administration", the system goes to another module call "administration". The custom recorded message at administration recites the next set of possible choices. At this point there is a long pause for 8 seconds or so and goes back to the main module and repeats the main welcome message. I tried to recreate the administration module by configuring it like a working module, but no joy.
I could not find any logs or events in Winodws XP Pro.
Also have a problem on a module called "operations" where the list of choices for extensions transfered, but the list is repeated.
If I hit number choice again, it transfers and the extension begins to ring.
I know the system is old, but it never did this before. Hope there is a simple solution.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Vince
