Dear all. I am trying to shield some calls away from our switchboard so have put the following vector steps in my seitchboard vector :

03 collect 4 digits after announcement 5800 for none
04 route-to digits with coverage y
05 goto step 11 if unconditionally

This will allow callers to be transferred to a person if they know their extension number. I have one problem however which I hope someone can answer. when the caller dials the extension and is directed to that number they have no way of getting back to switchboard if no one answers. Is there a setting in system parameters I can change. I was thinking of some sort of time out that will automatically route callers back to switchboard after x amount of rings.

I have over 600 extensions, I cant create a coverpath for each one and some extensions have coverpaths already. Thanks for the reply anyway. Any other suggestions ?

Would this work for you. I am not that good on vectors but you could try it.

Mikey, Your vector seems to have only 1 line in it ? Have I missed something. Thanks .

I just added that as the step you could try on your vector. It may work (not sure) but it would be worth trying.
