My question is in reference ti a CS1000M Release 7.6 PBX.

I haven't a clue as to how to work an attendant console as I never get the opportunity to play around with one.
Can someone explain the process of an operator setting up a four way conference call (including the operator) then have the operator drop out of the call without disconnecting the other three parties?

Here's an example: The attendant console operator answers an external PSTN call.
The operator then conferences in an external party.
At that point the two outside parties and the operator have a short conversation.
Next, the operator adds an internal phone party to the conference and has another short conversation with the other three parties.
Next, the operator drops out of the call while the other three parties (two external, one internal) continue their conversation uninterrupted.

Can anyone tell me if this is doable and which keys on the console the operator uses to accomplish this?
Is there any specific programming on the PBX that needs to be done beforehand to allow the operator to setup this type of call or to allow the operator to drop out of the call without disconnecting the other parties?
