Hello all, im new here and training to be a computer techie. I have a laptop from a friend who would like win xp and win 98 on 1 hard drive, but im unsure of how to do this. Please can someone help me with this. I beleive that win 98 runs on fat32 and win xp on ntfs. Would I have to set these up manualy in fdisk? Ty

Sry I forgot to add that the hard drive is 60GB if that helps

What I would do is partition the hard drive the way that you want it. Then I would install Windows 98 first and then XP after that to get the ability to dual boot. Windows XP has the ability to be installed on either a FAT32 or NTFS partition. As davidmcolaco mentioned, there are programs out there that ease the process of getting this accomplished. OSloader or PartitionMagic are good programs to use.
