I'm having a client that is having issues with calls going to the wrong option off of the Attd menu. I tested several times but I can't get this to go to the wrong ext when I do test calls. but I have a user that keeps getting hang up calls. We recently upgraged them from 4.0(17) 5.0(20) and it started happening after that. I'm thinking its a DTMF issue where the line thinks they are pressing 5 instead of 2
The user is gettn 20 or so hangups everyday.
The option the are trying to reach is 2 but they are getting option 5. I was thinking that they are just pressing 5 and not 2. but this problem did not happen before upgrade. Any ideas on what this could be?
Thanks in advance for your help.

This might sound silly but did you check the recording?

Sometimes they recorded the options wrong and even though it it is doing exactly what it is programmed to do, someone crossed the names in the recording so they think it is being directed incorrectly.

If not, you can use Sysmon (and SSA I think) to see the DTMF hits and what it is seeing.

Recording is correct. I've tested it several times myself and I get it to go to the correct option everytime. That's what is confusing to me. I can't re-create the problem when I call.

Maybe a poor connection from mobiles/cell phones or a poor SIP implementation at the caller end causing the issue and so hard for you to test :)

Mostly all of the calls are from landlines and not mobiles. It is really weired; because this didn't happen until we upgraded to 5.0(20) Do you think I should try to upgrade it again. Not sure whatelse to do.
