Attd Greeting not recording.

When I enter the code *8401 or any to record the greeting for the auto ATTD I dont get the beep I get a fast busy What would cause that. I'm not sure what is wrong.

perhaps your card has gone into read-only mode.

turn it off, pull the card out, re-seat it, try again....

I think you are dialing the wrong code. It's something like 7841. Look in the auto attendant set up in manager.

when I look under attd is gives the short codes *8101,*8201,*8301,*8401 for the different options on attd. I'm sure that they are right but just not working properly.

Do you have allow local recording enabled?

I found out the problem thanks guys. When the shortcode was created it was Dial and not ATTD in feature.
