Is there a way to send a file folder as an attachment in Outlook 2000? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not running Outlook 2000 so I don't know if you can attach an entire folder as is, but if you zip it up you can attach the zip file.

NO! they cant! only as Paulwood said by ziping the folder and if necessary checking the box for including sub-folders.
What is the purpose of this, and maybe we can come up with a better solution?

Thank you so much for your help. Zipping the file does work. KeyTech, in response to your question, we wish to send inspection reports electronically to a customer. This involves grouping several scanned documents within a labeled folder. Thanks again for your help.

Yep seems Zipping them is the way yo go!!! Jay~

Outlook 2000 / address autocomplete feature...

I am trying to get outlook 2000 to autocomplete the email address of the person I am composing an email to if it is in my contact list...ie: if I'm sending to "bob", when I type the B in the to field of the email it should bring up all the email contacts I have that start with "b" automatically...It does not! I have autocomplete on and have looked thru tools, options, all that - can't find anything or the things I have found aren't working...any ideas? Thanks, M

Dont know if this will work, but the way I do it is type b for bob and then ; after it, (and then other names if you wish) and then click into the main email body where you type the message and it should auto complete the name for you, provided that you dont have two people who have names beginning with the letter b, or it wont be able to choose, also make sure that the display name for bob is set to bob or it wont work, espicailly if his email is mrbob@hotmail.com, and thats the display name...therefor you would have to tpye m for the auto complete if you know what I mean!!!!

hope this helps! Jay~

Sorry to cut in here, but I am lost where to put a question up.

I send attachments to emails and the receivers are seeing .dat files etc, but are not able to open. If I use my pop3 account up at netscape all is fine????

I am using outlook 2000.

Hope you experts can throw some light on the matter.

Thanks
