attachment errors

when an attachement, sent from outside of the company through there exchange 5.5 server to oulook 2000 or 97, is double clicked on to open the error "operation failed" appears, when the user atempts to save the attachment nothing happens. would anyone have any thoughts on this?

Try saving the attachment to the desktop. If that doesn't work, they may have been sent incorrectly. If saving doesn't work, try having the sender re-mail you the attachments, and see what happens clgx299@earthlink.net
