Hi there,

I was wondering how Exchange deals with attachments that have been sent to an internal distribution group. If I attach say a 10MB file to an email and send it a group with 100 users in it, does exchange create 100 copies of the file or is it intelligent enough to store the file once with 100 users able to access it?

Thanks in advance,

Glenn.

Would it also be true that all users who the file is sent to would need to delete it before it is removed from the store?

Obviously, but that still beats the 100 copies.
