Attaching a link to an email that opens a record... 1

Is this possible in Access 2000

I would like to insert a link in an email, that when clicked will launch an MS database and go to the record specified in the link.

i.e. attaching a link for a prospects record in a sales db that can be emailed to a field sales person and when clicked opens the record for the prospect.

Just a though: why not a Snapshot or a DataAccessPage ?
