atmsys.drv cannot be loaded

Hi,
This laptop is running on Win98 Second Edition. It can only boot to Safe mode. When it tries to boot to Normal mode it reports "cannot load atmsys.drv" and shuts down completely. Can someone help me how to sort this problem out?

Try this fix.

Edit your system.ini file by finding the statement SYSTEM.DRV=ATMSYS.DRV. Change it to SYSTEM.DRV=SYSTEM.DRV.
