ATI Radeon 9800 XT for Autocad and 3D MAX

Has anyone used this video card for Autocad, 3D VIZ or 3D studio Max? I know this card was primarily marketed toward the gaming environment ...but it has opengl 8 support and seems to run perfect for me using autocad, with large 3D models. Would like to here some opinions on this.

for applications like those that you mentioned it is better if ATI's "FireGL" series or Nvidia's "Quaddro" series are used since those cards are made for those kinds of applications.
