I just bought this new video card (used) and it did not include the ATI power extension cable (molex pass-thru to ATI power connector).

It looks like a similar connector that a standard floppy drive uses. Can anyone confirm if I can just use the spare floppy connector off my PSU, or is it a specific connector to ATI.

I don't want to spend $15 on a new one from ATI if I can just make my own extension from spare parts.

I think you plug the 4 wire HD connector between the Power supply and the Hard drive. Then you plug the smaller end that looks like the floppy power into the video card. That is how I have done it on an ATI 9800 Pro AIW

If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.

I have an ATI All-in-Wonder 9800 Pro. It uses the same connector. Just plug the standard floppy drive plug into it.

Rock on, thank you
