Hello

I've bought an CLub-3D Ati RAdeon 9100 64DDR DVI/TV LowProfile,
There are a couple of strange things happening,
- when I'm using the Video out and connect my TV. When rebooting my screensize is different. When unplugged it's changed back into old size.
- My monitor supports up to 1024x768 but when I'm changing res. the screensize is changing also.
- I've installed the cattalist 3.1 drivers (downloaded from club-3d) and when I'm shutting down tells WinXP that explorer.exe doesn't respond.
- When I'm playing C&C generals my cursor is going strange.
I hope that anybody can tell me what's the installation procedure for the Radeon 9100 64DDR LP and how I can fix some problems.

Thanks!!

Monitor screen size change on res change is quite frequent (and quite annoying too). Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with drivers or vid cards. I have had the same issue with everything from GeForce 2 GTS to GeForce 3 and 4 Ti 4400.
On the other hand, a shutdown error under XP is interesting. Are you sure the driver update was made correctly ?
As for the curser issue, I would probably guess that it is driver-oriented also.
So, either the driver update did not work, or it needs a patch. Maybe you would be better off downloading the driver from the vendor site ? If you are sure the driver update is OK, then we need to further.

Thanks Pmonett for your reply

You suggested to download the drivers form the vendor site.
But I don't know where to find the vendor site.

Thanks very much,

Right, my bad. I should have said the MANUFACTURER's site.
Indeed, the vendor does not have any special version of Catalyst.
My idea was that the download from club-3d may not be entirely reliable, so going to and getting the most recent version would certainly be better.
I have nVidia cards myself, and I never download the drivers from any other source than nVidia itself. I also generally choose only official gold versions, not beta versions.

The first thing I'm going to do when I'm getting home from work is download the drivers from ati.com

Thanks for the tip!
