ATI Radeon 9000 problem with fast user switch Win XP

Good Morning,

I am having a strange issue with my Radeon 9000 video card. I am running Win XP Pro SP1 with all hotfixes, and sometimes when switching between users it seems to take sometimes 15-20 seconds to do this, and other times it is literally intantaneous. Why would this be happeing? Any ideas?

there is an xp user switch/ati problem fixed with the latest cat drivers.

I am using the latest drivers. Is there any special way to unistall them before installing the latest? Maybe I didn't do that right?
