Set up ATA and can dial to other extensions, but can't dial to it. Also can't get to external dialout line

Followed instructions but no luck

Is there a FAQ on this?

Put your lines at the location into a line pool, assign a line pool code, give the ATA Extension Line Pool A access. Dial Line Pool code I suggest 9 and your number and your done

Justin

I tried putting in a line pool but then I lost the lines that were appearing and ringing on the extensions

Want the lines to continue to appear the way they are any other way to have the extension find a line??

What is the extexsion of the ATA is it 237

In the case of numbering from 101 would it be 117

If you are numbering from 101 the port would always match the DN

Dial 101 and see what intercom is displayed there

It sounds like you are following all the right steps

Maybe the ring tone is off on the analog device

That is all I can think of...you have done everything right

The Lines should be able to be displayed on individual sets as assign and ring and also be put in a Pool eg. "A"

Wipe out and do again. You'll get it this has happened to me before.

Another classic case where an on sight technician is required but never even considered. No wonder so many good techs are out of work right now.

Extensions could start at 251! then the port to DN number theory is out the door.
