Hi....working with an MICS 7.0 with call pilot on port 131 & 132. ATA 2 is on port 130 (EXT 250)

CO Lines 1/2 + FAX/DSL is on line 8 (034). Lines 1&2 are in pool A with an access code of 9.

The FAX/DSL line is unfiltered to the modem, and filtered side goes to CO line 8 (034) Line 8 appears in Pool B with an access code of "8".

Line 8 "appears" on set 221, and "appears and rings" on 250, which is the ATA.

What I want is for the FAX machine to be DN250...using my butt set I can make intercom calls from the butt set to 221 and from 221 to 250 no problemo if I have intercom keys assigned to 250. If I dial CO line 8 from my cell, the butt set attached to the ATA 2 rings okay and I can take the call.

I've got the ATA (DN250) set up with 0 intercom keys, and is prime to Line 034, which appears and rings to this DN.

I want the sets to be able to dial "8" to access the Fax line for an outgoing call in the event of all the pool A lines being busy, however I want the FAX machine to automatically grab line 8 with no access code so that making an outgoing FAX is as simple as dialing the fax number.

If I dial 8 from my butt set, you can see line 8 become occupied on the receptionist phone. If dial any other digit, I get a fast busy. Shouldn't the prime setting of L034 accomplish this for me on the ATA?

What have I done wrong?
