ATA 186 Image Change

Hi,

Can anyone help/advice...

I am trying to change the image on my ATA 186. I recently upgraded/changed it's image to SIP image 3.1.1 but I now need to upload/change the image to H.323 3.1.2 - but it fails with the IVR "Voice" message <Upgrade Failed>

I initialy manually (via dos prompt) upgraded the SIP image sucessfully but now when I try to change the image to H.323 3.1.2 or any other image it fails with the above voice message. I am using the same manuall method of image upgrade.

Is there something that I am doing wrong or is it just the case that you cannot do what I am trying to do.

Is it the case there is not enough space on the ATA 186 to complete the image change - can the memeory/flash be erased to make room.

Any advice mucho appreciated..

Hey Dudes, DOH - sorted it :-(0) my mistake and quite an easy one to make as well.

I left the TFTP value set to 1 in the ATA 186, it should be "TFTP=0" when upgrading manually..

I suppose the story is when you are tired and doing these sort of things at night - you will make mistakes. Best to leave it till the morning and re-think the procedure.
