I am try to put a schedule on my computer so that it powers up in the morning and shutdown by itself at night on a schedule. I have a program that shutsdown the computer at night, but to reboot the computer in the morning by itself I believe I have to set the bios to enable automatic startup. I set it to startup everyday at a certain time but it will not even come on. Is there another way of setting this computer to startup by itself in the morning.

I believe that you can write a batch file for this. I have wrote one for my XP machine. What operating systems are you using?

I do have a window XP, if you help me out I would be very grateful.

sorry but a batch file will not power on a computer from an off state. It will have to be done on the mobo, kinda like a wake on lan but not all mobo's will support that.
