Hi All,
I'm having a problem using the video capture feature of the asus 8200 Ti200, at first everything was fine, but the second time I tried to capture video from my Palmcorder or from my VCR the highlights and the lowlights lost details like if I had set too much saturation or contrast, but everything was set as default as it was set the first time.

Now when I capture a scene with a white txtured surface, like a wall or anything similar, the surface appear perfectly white without texture the sme things appear on reflective surfaces or bright colored things.

I reapeat that the first time I captured the pre-recorded video everything was fine, good details, and good resolution, but now there is nothing I can do to fix the problem.

What happened?

Thanks to everyone
Simone

Wonder if you got anywhere with this...? I have had similar issues and it appears that the WDM driver is white-ing out any high light areas on the video clip.

I have got the colour issue sorted by using the vFw 1.1 capture driver that comes with ASUS live, but this is so slow even 1/2 screen capture drops frames etc...

I gues the solution is to go back to a WDM driver but find one that doesn't screw the colors.. Any progress you or anyone has made on this issue would be appreciated.

At the moment I must say the ti200 does not seem to be any good for video editing...
