asus 4pte - configure for usb keyboard and mouse 1

1. ASUS does not have a mainboard named 4PTE, so I am assuming you meant P4T-E...
2. on the Pages 58-60, of the manual, is the description of the BIOS setting [USB Legacy Support] make sure that that is set to ENABLED...

3. make also sure that the USB ports are enabled, see Page 65 in the manual for that...
that should be it...
