I have asterisk 1.2.1 running on sles 9. I installed webvmail on my system and am able to log into the mailboxes, but all mailbox folders display 0 messages even though there are messages in the mailboxes. Is there some permissions issue that I need to change on the voicemail folders? I have asterisk running as root and executed a chmod -s on /srv/ to get the web browser to apache to bring up the voice mail login page. Any suggestions?
