This may be a shot in the dark but I need some assistance with programming a KX-T123210BE.

We purchased this system reconditioned 7 years ago and it has been reliable and trouble free. We are now in a position where we need to reprogram it and our original supplier is unable/unwilling to assist. An immediate requirement is to be able to redirect one of the incoming lines (we have 11) to a particular extension number, this is already done with the other 10 lines. We have a KT-T7730 handset which I have used to program the system in the past under guidance. If someone could assist or provide me with a link to a programming/service manual it would be much appreciated.

Chris

I'm guessing you must be outside the US because I don't recognize that model number....our equivalent version of that system here is the KX-T123211. This link shows all the programming fields for the 123211....it should be the same.

Thanks for the link, yes I am in the UK. I have also managed to download an Installation manual for the KX-T123210 the programming codes appear to be the same.

Where I am struggling now is actually using the handset (KX-T7730) into the correct programming mode. When I press the Program button I get a message "PITS-PGM NO? ->". This only appears to accept a single digit is there another method to get into the system programming mode?

thanks
Chris

throw program switch on ksu and use display phone on jack 01 = ext 101

From Memory there is a 3 position switch on the side of the main unit
One position is normal
One position is PITS programming
One position is for serial connection to program from PC

PITS and program from ext 101 = jack 1 you can use a dumb termial or silent 700 in EIA mode (only Know of one other guy besides me outside of tech support that has accomplished it programs very close to rev 1 KX-T 336) or programator but either are not for weak hearted or novice and you can really pooch a system.

Whereabouts in the UK are you?
