We have a MICS-4.1,Nam and a ACD with 2 T1's (1)PRI and (1)Local Long Distane. I wouldn like to direct a 800# to a hunt group in the ACD.How do I assign the new 800# to a DID and then to the ACD? Or how Do I know which line is the 800#?

I would also like to Thank everyone for their input. I have found many questions answered in this Forum.
 
800 numbers are virtual numbers, the carrier who is suppling the 800 number will need to know what DID number you want 800 number to be pointed to. What type of ACD to do you have?

Great.
I thought this would be the way.However my Customer setup the new 800# with the carrier, and they told them that "I the Vendor" would know what to do, useing their DISA system. Not knowing what DISA was I assumed I could see the line and asign it myself. Now that you have answered my question, I will call the carrier myself and ask them to direct, or point the 800# to a DID#.
Now for the ACD. It is a Norstar Cinphony.

I have had a LD vendor (att) with a t-1 into one phone system just dropped some digits on their t-1 channel into me. They liked to use 111 for the first 800 # and 222 for second etc. They called that disa. If your LD providor is working the same you will have to tell them how many digits you need (System Prgrming->Rec'd # length: ) and you will probably pick a number that is safely out of your present DID range. Then assign a Target line and handle it either via Sysptem prgrming->hunt group: ) or your ACD; as you desire. JerryReeve
