Hi,

Is it possible to assign keys, or "re-assign" keys in MS Office XP?

I would like to either re-assign help to something other than F1 or even just disable F1.

Thanks for any insight you provide.

Steve

In Word, righting clicking on a toolbar and then on Customize on the bottom brings up the menu. A button at the bottom says "Keyboard." Click on that and then locate the Windows and Help Category (on the left) and then find Help command (on the right).

You can change the shortcut key for help there.

Couldn't find the same in Access, Excel, or Powerpoint.

Thanks for your response, unfortunately I am trying to accomplish this in Excel. I should have mentioned that in my original post.

Thanks again.
