Assigning analog line to hunt group not ringing

Hi All

I have just upgrade a BCM50 R2 to R5 everything works fine except when I try to Assign a line to a Hunt Group(HG) it doesn't ring. There seems to be no problem with assigning lines directly to extn, via AA (transfer to extn 440 HG option) works fine when calls come in, can ring HG directly rings but only when I assign a line to the HG it doesn't ring (set as Appear& Ring). I have tried everything I can think of but come to the same conclusion. The latest patches are on system 201004 and Desktop.
Any help would be useful.

Are you assigning an analog line or station? You say you assign a line to "appear & ring". You don't set lines to A&R just extensions.

I am assigning analogue lines to Mixed extns IP, Dgt, ana in hunt group

you cant have the same line appear and ring on an extn an assigned to a hunt group as well.
The 2 together dont work properly.

Remove any line appearances that have been assigned to the huntgroup from the extn and have only the extn appear and ring in the hunt group.
Then assign the line to the huntgroup only

This way you get a hunt group appearance instead of a line appearance

It used to work on the norstar systems but now I know it doesn't on BCM's.

Have you put the latest R5 patches in.
